Accessibility

We turn ability into opportunity

At Vodafone, we focus on the things people can do. On their potential, and how they can optimise it. This means recognising the value everyone adds to our organisation, especially people with disabilities. Which is why we strive to ensure that all of our buildings, systems and ways of working are designed with accessibility front of mind. And that all of our people feel empowered to fully participate in Vodafone life.

Mental health and thriVe

Wellbeing is incredibly important to us – we want everyone who works here to feel happy and connected. To feel supported, even if it’s just a friendly chat. In the UK, we’ve launched dedicated wellbeing platform, thriVe, which will be rolled out to all of our markets. It’s also available to our employees’ family and friends, encouraging employees to engage more broadly.

Supporting the community

Our focus on empowering our colleagues with disabilities extends to our customers and communities. In different countries across the globe, we’ve launched a wealth of accessibility initiatives, including an SMS Emergency Services for people with communication barriers in South Africa and a digital platform to help people with disabilities access sport in Italy.

Disability awareness and
celebration

We celebrate International Day of Persons with Disabilities every December. It’s an opportunity for us to highlight the countries that have championed disability in the workplace through initiatives like accessibility solutions, sign language implementation and mental health schemes. We also shine a light on some amazing individual stories from our colleagues, providing inspiring insights on how disability has touched their lives.
