In 2018, we surveyed more than 3,000 LGBT+ individuals across 15 countries in partnership with “Out Now.” We found 58% of young LGBT+ people weren’t open about their sexual orientation or gender identity at work because they feared being discriminated against by managers and colleagues. Meanwhile, 31% admitted they had hidden their sexuality in their first job.
